About us
Lemmings of the Light is an alliance guild focused on community-strengthening activities like raiding. Founded april 1st, 2005, we are moved in our decisionmaking by the same principles that originally founded the guild:

- We want people to be able to make mistakes (and admit to them) without getting named or shamed
- We want all criticism to be fair, honest, and constructive, and aimed at improving the guild
- No Lemming is left behind: we'll go a long way in accomodating your gameplay and gametime, if you meet us half-way!
- All Lemmings are equal when it comes to lootdivision or raid participation
- Everyone gets a fair chance to prove themselves. No exclusion to any rank or role based on favouritism; only on personal accountability and community conduct

It is on these principles that we have based our rules as you can read in our Lemmings Code of Conduct If you have questions on any of these at all, we encourage you to send us a tell!

Lemmings and raiding
We organise 3-4 raids a week, but you don't have to sign up for every single one, nor is there a certain amount of raids you are supposed to join in. We rotate based on previous raiding activity, so everyone gets an equal chance to participate. Loot is divided with a masterlooter and rolls, through need before greed, based on class and main spec. We post combatlogs after each and every raid.

So, why should you want to join?
Because Lemmings is one of the oldest guilds on the server and has been under the same leadership since 2005. Because besides having the principles as stated above, we're openminded, girl and gay friendly. Because you, like us, get your fun from downing tough bosses as a team in raids, or from pulling hijinks like our level 1 Lemming-gnome raid on the Undercity, or last year's zombie invasion on Stormwind!

- Send a tell ingame to a guildie to ask how they like the guild
- Send a tell ingame to Neti or our officerteam: Akaryxn, Etax, Garalia, Spitbeard, or Matzy
- Post in ourguest forum with your question; you can alsocreate an account on our website, and send a private message to Neti, to get guest privileges

The application process
We do ask everyone who is interested in joining Lemmings to fill in an application form so our recruitment team can discuss your membership requests appropriately After you filled it in, the post will be (made) invisible. However if you have any questions about it at any time, feel free to get in touch through one of the methods above.

Cross-server and cross-faction applications
We have had applications sent in by people playing mainly on other servers, and people playing mainly Horde. We don't feel we're an "alt guild", but if you can convince us that we'll have your full attention, we'll accomodate you all the way by inviting a low level character for the duration of the trial. We know server/faction changes can be costly, and we want you to be sure before you go through it.
