New to the guild - and now what?
Welcome to the Lemmings once again!
Because experience has taught us that a lot of typical guild things are unclear to people for a very long time after they joined the guild we've prepared a little guide for you, to help get used to your new guild.
Community
In Lemmings, we strongly value our sense of community. This is why we have such an elaborate website: to get to know each other better outside of the game and to make things run smoother ingame.
It is very appreciated if you take some initiative and post a biography to your profile, and/or a introduction thread on our forums.
We don't believe in hard rules but we have composed a Code of Conduct which explains the goals of this guild and what we (can) expect from eachother
Alts
Your alts are welcome to join! Just whisper an officer or Neti with your request. Even if your main is a lemming (and past the initiate stage), your alt may not immediately be promoted to Alt because of security issues (people pretending to be guildies to rob the guildbank).
We do ask everyone with alts in the guild to install the addon "Identity" which adds your main's name in brackets before every sentence in guildchat. This helps everyone keep track of you
(See the addons section)
Raiding
With raids, we have our own way of guaranteeing everyone that wants to raid has their turn. Everyone at the appropriate level with appropriate gear (generally speaking you should be in all-blue items or up, of level 80 quality) can sign up for raids, and then we will add you to the Invite List, the priority list which we use to determine the lineup for each run. You will go up and down this list as you attend a run.
It is important for you to be aware of how it works, how this applies to you and our loot rules
Leadership
If you have any questions or guild suggestions you are encouraged to PM them through the site or ingame to Neti or an officer.
A full list of of who is who:
- Neti - guild leader
- Akaryxn - officer
- Etax - officer
- Spitbeard - officer
- Garalia - officer
- Matzy - officer
Training/Advice
If you have questions about your class or think there's something related to your class that needs to be known throughout the guild or by the guild leadership you can contact your class officer, or counsellor. They are both class leaders, only officers have a direct link to the leadership of the guild
The counsellors mainly focus on giving advice and relaying the message if that is needed.
- Yreia & Redhenry - warlock counsellors
- Alwyn & Krisania - mage counsellors
- Garalia - priest counsellor
- Pluto & Elminda - warrior counsellors
- Spitbeard - paladin counsellor
