For a lot of guilds, the summer holidays mean a break period in raiding, caused by a lull in signups. Just to refresh everyone's memory, in "tough" periods like these we have been helped in the past by our Guild Friendship programme! So ask your friends

Everyone that is interested in raiding with Lemmings - and that subscribes to a few rules (gear level, attitude) can fill in a Guild Friend application on our website. Being a guild friend means that an individual can sign up for our raids, helping us to make runs go ahead, and them to perhaps get some raiding action in the holiday season. whose guilds are issuing a holiday season and might want to have the option for signing up with another established group. It's not meant to poach people (making other guilds' raids harder, that's not what we're about), but it has helped introduce some people to the Lemming way. Plus you know the Wilgje is all about PR

As member of Lemmings you will be able to see guild friendship applications. We're much pickier with our guild applications (as being a guild friend is more of a 'deal' made between individuals and Lemmings for mutual benefit), which is why we leave the guild application reviewing to guildies ranked High Lemmings and up, but for guild friends we just want to run the names by you so you can say, "omg I was in a pug with this dude he's horrible!!!" or "wow this person is awesome". If someone doesn't get any bad comments, we make them an account on our website and we try things out.

Friday, we'll go back to Ulduar, or to Eye of Eternity, depending on the sign-ups, and what everyone wants to do. We can still use some signups to make this run go ahead.

As always, the weekend will be a bit quieter, so we haven't put anything into the calendar. And finally on monday we'll go to Naxxramas to get some more upgrades for old and newer guildies! Please sign up if you want to come with

If you have ideas for fun events, or old raid content, don't hesitate but get in touch with me, an officer, ingame or through the site, or in the comments here. We're a bit short-staffed as new guildies are levelling and the officers are a bit busy but we will do our best to make things happen!

Last time, we decided to push the next high lemming nomination round to July.. but I've gotten some positive feedback about quite a few guildies, and in this last week we have seen a new side from some.

Psst.. I haven't been in Lemmings that long yet, what are High Lemmings?

High Lemmings are people in the guild that have shown they embody Lemming attitude (helpfulness, improvisation in the face of a challenge, friendlyness, being considerate of other people's feelings), people that are an inspiration and example to everyone in the guild, who help make our community what it is. It is not a popularity contest, but a way for you to open our eyes on who we might be underestimating

With the difficult announcement below out of the way it's time for the April High Lemmings nomination round!

High Lemmings are people that are active on the website, who have been very helpful to guildies, and people that contribute to a good atmosphere in one way or another. In general, an example to us all People who are promoted to High Lemming not only get a funky title but will also gain the priviledge of commenting on guild applications, so they will have an influence on future guild atmosphere as well! Nomination rounds are announced every two months or so, in which you can submit a nomination or two for guildies that deserve a promotion to this rank. Current list here.

Please PM your nomination to Wilgje, or send a tell/mail ingame. We will gather all nominations and then decide from them who gets promoted

Psstpsst It just occured to me as I updated my 'how to get groups together' post that I know a *lot* of guildleaders on the server - and on april 1st, Lemmings of the Light celebrates their 4th birthday! Time to cash in on those contacts

So, how about we organise a MASSIVE event where we invite every guild we ever met I don't know quite what kind of activity to organise - a jump from Twin Colossals with a huge amount of people would be funny and accessible to alliance as well as horde - but I'm also open to other suggestions I'm not posting this in the PR forum by high exception because this concerns all of us

A huge parade to some place, a picnic around Naxxramas and/or other raid instances where we provide cakes and food things before general server raid time could also be fun.
I'm also thinking perhaps a contest where we quiz the server, and the answers to the various questions make up a sentence- and when people whisper that sentence to a lemming, they win a gem or a prairiedog whistle

This week, we're still running Naxxramas with two raid groups, with a scheduled Eye of Eternity run this upcoming monday (march 23rd), and the week after, we want to try and clear Naxxramas in heroic mode by organising not one, but *two* 25-man runs (exact days will be announced).

The organisation of these runs comes from a desire to clear Eye of Eternity before 3.1 (according to a GM I talked to, we will have ample time for this), and have gotten the key for the Heroic version so we may go back to that after the patch. But we would like to know: what are *your* goals before patchday?

After a misunderstanding with one of our guildies, we thought it important to investigate where the guild currently stands with regards to roles. Consider this a follow-up of the poll we posted 6 weeks ago, where we asked you what class you would be levelling first. For some people, things may have changed (I know they have for me! ), and it would really help our decisionmaking process if you'd let us know by way of this poll.

Also, we hope to open a second group for Naxxramas in january. Pre-Wrath of the Lich King, we would have one group run wednesdays and fridays, and the other group thursdays and tuesdays - with tanks committing to the same team weekly to introduce a little stability into the groups. It would help us if, when you're interested in raiding with Lemmings, you comment to this post with answers to the following
