My name out of the game is Robert, I'm married, have a soon 5 year old son (where the heck did thoses years go?) and I'm a proffessional computer geek

I valiantly fought of my friends attempt to get me into WoW, they must have nagged me for almost a year before I found myself in a job where I was alone in front of a computer most of the time and had nothing to do, nothing as in 2 or 3 support calls a week and probably as many mails. I was so insanely bored that I thought that a game couldn't be worse at least.
After a few attempts at different classes and servers I decided on a druid and as my friends played on Aszune I started on here, did my starting zone and travelled to Darkshore, hmm more boats, I picked one, got a zoning screen and 2 seconds later I was laying in the middle of the ocean, wtf?
Called my friend who kindly explained that going there cost extra, expansion was bought on my lunch break the same day, no more involuntary baths for this kitty.
Leveling was slow and painful but I got there in the end and was dragged into Gruuls lair, oh dear that was confusing, one of my frinds had kindly helped me installed some addons, unfortunellaty he kind of forgot to configure my raidframes, I had groups ALL over my screen, I didn't see a bleedin' thing the first minutes while trying to drag everything to the side in panic, not that it mattered all that much, I doubt my dps was above the healers that time
I was hopelessly behind everyone in the guild and I took my time to do all kinds of other stuff, like exploring, fishing, leveling professions (I have powerlevelled all professions except tailoring to max) and everything most people consider a waste of time, I don’t, some days it’s extremely relaxing to fish for hours.
Enter Lich King and I wanted to try something different and leveled moonkin, I was amazed how much more fun that was, granted cat was only for unemployed tanks then, but still, I could kill something in under a minute.
As Grying (my old guild) prepared for Naxx we realized we were short on healers and I could use most of the boomkin gear to do decent healing in, I stayed a healer until I took a break to play more casual due to family issues and when I returned my healing slot was filled and I was asked to go dps again.
A little while ago Gryning all but imploded when almost all raiders and all except one officer left to form Simple, we didn’t get any warning at all and all of a sudden we were without any leadership and no core raiders, we were disoriented to say the least. Well some people stepped up and took on officer roles, very nice people but maybe not leader types all of them, in my opinion it has turned silly social, where /g was downright stupid and nothing really happened, we got a few players that were under the agelimit and they all of a sudden were very noticeable.
I left them just the day before I applied to Lemmings, it was scary, I’ve only ever been in Gryning, I have no idea what another guild could be like, but so far I have absolutely nothing to complain about.

As some of you probably have noticed I love achievements and there is no limit to the moronic things I can do to earn another 10 points so if you want to try an achievement just give me a shout, if I haven’t done it I’m game
